2 new polo regions to be born on April 1st -

In an interesting development in the Midlands, we have received this release from Sue Paget:

“From April 1st 2018 Midlands Water Polo will be disbanded and the East and West Midlands will have their own separate regional committees. This is necessary as the East and West Midlands will need to compete in national competitions as separate teams from this point forward and we therefore need to organise our own regional training, coaches and team managers etc.

We have written the East Midlands regional water polo development plan for 2018/19 and have split the responsibility for delivery of actions across 8 committee roles to ensure manageable time commitments for regional volunteers. At present East Midlands has 2 committee members (Sarah Dunsbee and Kiyoko Nash) and is hoping to recruit a further 6 volunteers to undertake roles on the regional committee to ensure the effective delivery of the plan”

Full descriptions of the roles can be found here, and more info and contact details here, The closing date for applications is Thursday 22nd March 2018.
