Reason for optimism in our club news for May! - May 1, 2021



Welcome to our May edition of Water Polo News.  This last month has given us reason for optimism as the pools have reopened at last! It has been exciting for the over 18 water polo community to dip their toes back in the pool for some public lane swimming, as well as for many juniors who have been allowed to train with their clubs. And to top it all off there are only 17 days left until our clubs can start senior training!

Welcome to our almost-back-in-the-water April monthly newsletter! - April 1, 2021



Welcome to our April edition of Water Polo News, and this month we have some good reasons to be optimistic about the future.  The sun is out and we have started the journey out of lockdown.  Schools are back and pupils are able to participate in some training.  From 12 April we can start swimming indoors on an individual basis and from 17 May, assuming that the coronavirus pandemic remains under control, we will see the return to full water polo training in indoor pools.

Warley Wasps on the radio! - March 17, 2021



Great to hear Graham Harrington, GB player, World University Games 2017 participant and Warley Wasps stalwart providing his thoughts live on Black Country Radio about all things water polo.

As an antidote to the usual football chat on James Vukmirovic’s sports show, Graham talked about Warley Wasps’s success in the Midlands, getting back in the pool and of course the prospect of 2022 Commonwealth Games coming to the West Midlands.
