We’re excited to bring you the latest England Water Polo club news! - August 1, 2021



July started with a bang at Cheltenham’s Sandford Park Lido where the first senior water polo competition to be played in 18 months took place. City of Manchester was crowned the inaugural winners of the Women’s British Water Polo Festival, and Cheltenham’s men claimed the 2021 British Water Polo Championship title. A total of 12 teams took part in the tournament over 2 days. Although the weather wasn’t as kind as it could have been it was a great festival of sport.

Welcome to our July water polo club news! - July 1, 2021



Welcome to our July News! It’s great to see that most clubs have been able to return to normal training and athletes are going through the pain of finding their water legs again. Who knew swimming was so much effort! The training schedules have been intense as clubs prepare for the BWPL which is due to resume in September. Some clubs have been fortunate enough to have already played some competitive matches.

Enfield have resumed all of their water polo sessions after the lockdown.

Welcome to the June edition of our England Water Polo news! - June 1, 2021



Welcome to our June edition!  It feels like a time of renewed optimism – the pools are open, the sun is out and we have an exciting summer of water polo to look forward to with the British Championships in July, hopefully a ManUp festival and the start of the British Water Polo League in September, provided we continue to make progress and avoid a further wave of covid.

All players should now be able to train with their clubs.
