England Senior Mens Teams
Following the historical success of English players as members of the Great Britain Men’s water polo teams that dominated international water polo in the first six Olympic games, the England Senior Men’s team has achieved considerable success in modern international competition. In 2002, the England Senior Men’s team won the bronze medal in the Commonwealth Water Polo Tournament and the England Senior Men’s team then won the gold medal in the Commonwealth Water Polo Tournament in 2014, beating Malta 16-9 in their final match.
To great excitement the Water Polo Management Group restarted a competitive England Senior Men’s program at the beginning of 2017.

The future of England Water Polo’s monthly newsletter
First published in Sept 2016, we have been compiling a monthly post of water polo club news from across the country ever since. For most of those 8 years, the monthly newsletter has been edited by Anne Huck but with her recent retirement from the post, we feel that now is a good time to look again at the newsletter, its role in the England water polo community and whether a new approach might help to promote the good news stories about our polo clubs.
