GBR Senior Women

The Great Britain Senior Women’s team competed in the 2012 Olympic Games, placing 8th overall in what was the team’s Olympic debut.

However, UK Sport funding for the Great Britain Senior teams was cut from £4.5 million to nil following the 2012 Olympic Games. As such, the Great Britain Senior Women’s team was in a period of stasis.

However with the energy and commitment of a new volunteer Management Group established in 2015, the Great Britain Senior Women’s team was restarted in 2017 and the future now looks promising

Our December England Water Polo club news is out!



Welcome to our December edition of Water Polo News.  November was a very busy month with action in the British Water Polo League and lots of other matches and tournaments.  We try to catch a flavour of them below.
