Tough start for Tim Dunsbee’s squad, who face Neutral Athletes B (Russia) next on Wednesday morning, 9am start UK time.

Great Britain’s senior men lost 21-9 (3-0, 4-2, 8-4, 6-3) against Neutral Athletes B in their second group game of the World Cup Division II tournament on Wednesday 🤽‍♂️ 🇬🇧
James Blenkinship and Rueben Powell led the scoring for Great Britain with three each, while captain Kamz Powell (2) and Charles Kingsmill (1) were also on target.
Despite the loss, plenty of positives to take from the game, including a fine penalty save from goalkeeper Thomas Manley in the first half.
Next up for Tim Dunsbee’s squad is another difficult fixture on Thursday against Montenegro, 3.30pm start UK time.

Great Britain’s senior men finished the World Cup Division II league phase with a 34-4 (5-1, 8-1, 10-0, 11-2) defeat to Montenegro 🇬🇧 🤽‍♂️
Rueben Powell, Jordan Elliot, Ben Alderson and Joe Mathieson scored the goals, and up next for Great Britain is a clash against Slovenia in the 17th-24th classification knockouts on Friday, 3.30pm UK time.

Great Britain pushed Slovenia all the way in their World Cup classification crossover on Friday, but were narrowly defeated 13-10 (0-2, 5-1, 3-2, 5-5) 🇬🇧 🤽‍♂️
Reuben Powell led the scoring for Great Britain with four goals, while Jordan Elliot (2), Kamz Powell (1), James Blenkinship (1), Charles Kingsmill (1) and Ben Alderson (1) were also on target.
GBR v RSA
Great Britain’s senior men finished their World Cup campaign with a powerful 18-8 (2-2, 5-2, 5-1, 6-3) victory against South Africa 🤽‍♂️ 🇬🇧
The result sees Great Britain finish 21st in the Division Two tournament in Malta. Great Britain finished their World Cup Division Two campaign on a high with a hard-fought 13-12 (3-4, 3-1, 6-3, 1-4) victory over Portugal on Sunday afternoon in Malta. Theo Nousios’ squad took control after the first quarter, but had to dig deep in the fourth to secure seventh place overall, as the Portuguese fought back to level late on. Izzy Howe was the hero, sending in an exquisite lob shot with 1:07 remaining to win the game.
