Game 4. Slovenia v GBR
Great Britain finished their European qualification campaign with a battling 16-6 (5-2, 3-0, 4-3, 4-1) loss to Slovenia in Kranj on Tuesday evening.
Tom Hunt led the scoring for Great Britain with a hat-trick, while captain Dan Paddon scored twice and Kamz Powell (1) was also on target against the hosts, who were playing their first game of the day.
Unfortunately, Great Britain couldn’t replicate their winning performance from this morning against Poland, but lots of lessons learnt from the tournament and plenty of positives to build on going forward for Tim Dunsbee’s young squad.
