GBR Senior Women

The Great Britain Senior Women’s team competed in the 2012 Olympic Games, placing 8^th overall in what was the team’s Olympic debut.

However, UK Sport funding for the Great Britain Senior teams was cut from £4.5 million to nil following the 2012 Olympic Games. As such, the Great Britain Senior Women’s team was in a period of stasis.

However with the energy and commitment of a new volunteer Management Group established in 2015, the Great Britain Senior Women’s team was restarted in 2017 and the future now looks promising
