Preparation – we had one session dedicated to this camp which went well and set us up for the week. This is the start of the bigger programme for these ladies and it set the 3-year programme well thanks to ESSA’s support. We then had 2 days training before we played matches.

University water polo competitions in the UK are provided by 2 organisations...
October was another busy month as the British Water Polo League swung into full action. Also this month four of our clubs have been competing in the LEN Challenger Cup after qualifying for the event given their ranking in the BWPL Super Five competition. City of Manchester women’s team headed out to Novi Sad in Serbia to compete in the initial round of the Challenger Cup. They faced high quality opposition playing against the local Serbian team,
