Exeter Water Polo Club has been accepted for an International Club Tournament – the ‘Turbo Cup’ being hosted by the BIWPA in Barcelona in early September. Some of the premier clubs from across Europe including from Hungary (Szeged; Ferencvaros), Spain (CN Catalunya; Barcelonetta; Vigo and others), Italy (Monza; SM Verona) and Germany (SSV Esslingen) will be present in the competition that takes place from the 8th to the 11th September. More info at

We also have a team of English Roses playing in the European Master competition in Rijeka in September. They will face tough competition as there is only a 30+ age group for the women at the moment. (The men go in 5 year age bands up to 65+). However, with a mix of experienced former GB internationals and some new Roses who have joined for the competition from other British Clubs, the group is optimistic that it will be competitive. Good luck to both teams from all of us at England Water Polo!
