GB men’s coach Tim Dunsbee on securing 8th place at the 2017 WUGs -

Great Britain senior men’s coach Tim Dunsbee talks us through his team’s sensational performance at the World University Games and his thoughts on securing a magnificent top eight finish…

“From the outset, we knew our tournament objective was to make the top eight.

“The draw gave us an opportunity and it was for us to take advantage of that opportunity.

“The players responded perfectly and in what was to become our “cup final” last-16 game against Canada, they were superb in every aspect to win 7-6.

“My personal thanks must go to BUCS for giving the team this opportunity and to the support staff for their expert medical support.

“Thanks also to assistant coach Matt Holland and to team manager Dave King. Without Dave, none of this could have happened.”
