GOLD! England’s U19s are champions -

Fantastic gold medal performance by our England U19 Women at the 2018 EU Nations Senior Women’s Tournament in Brno after beating Switzerland 14-1 (5-0, 3-0, 2-0, 4-1).

England’s talented youngsters powered their way to the top of the podium, comfortably winning each quarter to ensure they would be taking the trophy home.

Molly Boniface-Ashton (5), Lily Turner (2), Stephanie Whittaker (3), Robyn Greenslade (2), Annie Clapperton and Katy Cutler all fired home, while Sophie Jackson was named goalkeeper of the tournament during the medal ceremony.

The triumph completes a magnificent May for England and GB water polo, after GB’s U19 men qualified for the European Championships, and England’s senior men and U19 women won gold at the EU Nations.
