You’re amazing! Thank you for your support for our GBR junior teams - August 20, 2018

Just a week away from our GBR U19 men’s return to full European competition for the first time in a decade, and a few weeks until the start of the GBR U19 women’s event in Funchal, we’d like to take the opportunity to recognise the amazing support of Great Britain’s water polo community for our teams. To date more than £2500 has been donated by GB polo fans to help these elite junior athletes, and their families, meet the high cost attending the LEN Championships.

To give you a feel for the event format, and for quite how expensive it is for an elite GBR junior water polo player to represent British Swimming at these events, have a look at the costs set out in the official team manuals for the events supplied by the organisers; all of which have to be met by the GBR players themselves.
