We mourn Dave King, a much-loved member of the GB polo community - December 14, 2025
Sad news from the South East, after the much-loved former Great Britain Team Manager Dave King passed away on Friday. Dave was a hugely popular figure in the England Water Polo community and lit up every poolside he attended.
A passionate champion of our sport, Dave dedicated himself to helping young players reach their potential whether at club level with Invicta or with England and Great Britain.
Countless athletes benefitted from his expert guidance and mentorship, none more so than his son, Sean, who proudly represented Great Britain at the London 2012 Olympics.
Dave will be greatly missed by everyone who knew him and our thoughts are with his family and friends at this time.
