Game 1 v Scotland
England’s senior women opened their EU Nations Tournament campaign with a powerful 23-2 (8-0, 4-0, 7-1, 4-1) victory over Scotland.
A ruthless performance from England, who were clinical in attack and strong in defence as Scotland were restricted to few chances throughout.

Game 2 v Serbia
England’s senior women lost a physical battle with Serbia 15-7 (4-2, 6-3, 4-1, 1-1) in their second match at the EU Nations Tournament.
Serbia edged what was a fierce contest and ultimately outsmarted England, who were unfortunate to see captain Vicki Hawkins wrapped up early in the second quarter.
Some sharp-shooting from the arc saw Serbia take control of the match and top the group.
Despite the result, England remain upbeat and will now face the other three 2nd place finishers to determine the 5th-8th classification places.
Game 3 v Czech World University Games Side
England’s senior women fought back to beat the Czech Universiade team 16-12 (4-5, 2-3, 4-2, 6-2) in a thrilling match at the EU Nations Tournament
A sensational second half performance saw England overturn a two-goal deficit to claim all the points in the opening game of the 5th-8th classification group.

Game 4 v Belgium
England’s senior women finished a super Saturday with an impressive 13-7 (3-1, 2-1, 5-2, 3-3) victory over Belgium to put them in pole position for a 5th place finish at the EU Nations Tournament.
Improving with every match, Nick Hume’s England delivered a professional display against Belgium to make it two wins from two in the second group phase.
Game 5 v Czech Republic
England’s senior women have finished 5th at the EU Nations Tournament after completing a hat-trick of wins in the second phase with a sensational 15-10 (3-2, 5-1, 4-4, 3-3) victory over the Czech Republic 🏴 🤽♀️ 💪
After triumphs over Belgium and the Czech World University Games squad on Saturday, Nick Hume’s England impressed again today right from the start.
Dominant in attack and defence, England quickly built an unassailable early lead and controlled the game to take it away from the hosts.

This has been another exciting month with City of Manchester pulling off an amazing double victory in the Super 5s as their men’s and women’s teams won their respective super 5 crowns. The men’s event came down to a thrilling finale with City of Manchester playing Polytechnic for a winner takes all showdown. City of Manchester secured a 15-12 victory over last year’s champions to take the crown while Sutton & Cheam secured their place in the Champions Cup with a 5-9 victory over Cheltenham and Welsh Wanderers took the third spot.
