Game 1 v Bulgaria

Great Britain’s Senior Women started their World Cup campaign with a powerful 29-4 (7-1, 8-1, 6-0, 8-2) victory against Bulgaria on Saturday morning

Game 2 v Türkiye

Great Britain’s Senior Women made it two wins from two at the World Cup after beating hosts Türkiye 14-8 on Sunday morning. The result sees Great Britain top Group A and they’ll face Czechia in Monday’s Quarter Finals, 1pm start (UK time).

Game 3 v Czechia

Great Britain’s Senior Women stormed into the semifinals of the World Cup Division Two with a powerful 22-4 (6-1, 5-2, 5-1, 6-0) victory against Czechia on Monday afternoon. The result means Great Britain are one win away from securing a place in the 2025 World Cup Super Final.

Game 4 v Japan

Great Britain’s Senior Women will battle for the bronze medal at the World Cup after a narrow 15-12 semifinal defeat to Japan on Tuesday.A strong performance from Great Britain saw them push Japan, who finished 9th at the 2020 Olympic Games, all the way and only trailed by one goal (11-10) early in the 4th quarter. Great Britain will now face Germany at 4pm (UK time) on Tuesday for a place on the podium
Game 5 v Germany
Great Britain’s Senior Women finished fourth at the World Cup Division Two after a 12-11 (3-3, 4-1, 1-3, 4-4) defeat to Germany on Tuesday evening. After brilliantly fighting back from three goals down in the fourth quarter to level the scores at 11-11, Great Britain’s campaign ended in heartache as Germany edged back in front with just 24 seconds remaining to take the bronze. Lots of great performances in 2024 to build on, and we’re already looking forward to 2025. Thanks for all the excellent support in the stands in Istanbul and back home
