Our monthly club news is now out, catch up on polo stories from around the country! - June 30, 2019
June has been another action packed month for the fantastic sport of water polo. We have had the finals of the British Championships, the great City of Manchester Summer Water Polo Festival and the London Youth Games. MANUP! has staged some amazing events and this month they organised a Water Polo tournament at the Liverpool’s iconic Royal Albert Dock. The sun is shining and the sport is basking after some great events!
The British Championships took place over the weekend of 1st/2nd June at the fantastic outdoor Cheltenham Lido.

Welcome to our June Water Polo News. It has been another very busy month for club water polo, and we have tried to capture a flavour of the events that have happened for you. If you would like us to feature your club please see our contact details at the end.
Liverpool travelled to the Czech Republic to participate in a tournament using the new rules. First up they made short work of Plzen winning the match 5 -18.
Our May Club News is Out! - April 30, 2019
Let’s start off with the news that the British Water Polo League will welcome four new teams in September after closely contested qualifying tournaments. In the women’s competition Exeter and Watford both went through as new entrants. The men’s newcomers are City of Chester (who return for the first time in twenty years) and City of Newport. It is great to see new teams joining the BWPL, and showws the increasing enthusiasm for the sport in Britain.
