Welcome to our May England Water Polo news - May 1, 2023

Welcome to our May edition of Water Polo News in which we aim to showcase some of the amazing activities undertaken by our clubs in the last month.

First off, we would like to offer our massive congratulations to our BWPL Super 5’s champions. In the women’s competition, City of Manchester defeated Liverpool 12-9 and Otter 11-10 to take home their fourth consecutive title. This is a fantastic achievement, and our congratulations go to the team.


Our ‘welcome to Spring’ England water polo club news is out! - April 1, 2023

This has been another action-packed month of water polo in the BWPL Super 5s and promotion tournaments. We have also had the Swim England National Age Group Championships and the finals of the London League Winter Championships.

We start our news round up with the National Age Group Championships. This year the Championships are for boys and girls in the under 19, under 17 and under 15 age groups. The early qualifying rounds for the under 19 boys took place at the beginning of March.


Our England Water Polo news is out - February 28, 2023

Welcome to the March edition of Water Polo news in which we showcase what clubs have been up to in February.  This is a busy time of the year as clubs vie with each other for positions in the British Water Polo League competitions. Men’s’ and Women’s Super Fives, Championship 1 and Championship 2 matches have all taken place this month.

In the Super Five’s Women’s competition, City of Manchester have shown their dominance with two emphatic wins against Liverpool Lizards (11-4) and against their closest rivals,
